Privacy Policy
Effective September 25, 2026 · Last updated September 25, 2026
Tier 1 Baseball LLC (“Tier 1,” “we,” “us”) operates the T1 Home app on iOS, Android and the web, and related services (together, the “App”). The App is used by families, coaches and staff of the Tier 1 Baseball travel program and the Base 1 training facility.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. Our separate Children’s Privacy Notice explains in more detail how we handle information about players under 13 and how parents give and withdraw consent. If the two documents conflict on a child’s information, the Children’s Privacy Notice controls.
- Accounts are for adults. Parents and guardians manage their children’s player profiles.
- We collect what we need to run the program: rosters, schedules, communications, bookings and payments.
- We do not sell personal information, do not show ads, and do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
- You can see, correct, download or delete your information at any time.
1. Who can use the App
You must be 18 or older to create an account. Players under 18 do not create their own accounts; a parent or legal guardian creates and controls each player profile. See Section 8 and the Children’s Privacy Notice.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you give us
| Category | Examples | From whom |
|---|---|---|
| Account information | Name, email, phone number, password (stored hashed), role (parent, coach, staff) | Adults creating an account |

| Player profile | Player’s name, date of birth, team and age group, jersey number, position, school grade, uniform sizes, height and weight | Parents; staff when building rosters |
| Health and safety notes | Allergies, medical conditions or other safety notes a parent chooses to provide for coaches | Parents (optional) |
| Development and performance information | Attendance, evaluations, training points, workout and assessment results, coach notes, game statistics | Coaches and staff; imported from GameChanger by staff |

| Payment information | Amounts, items purchased, payment status, last four digits and card brand. Full card numbers are entered directly with Stripe and never reach our servers. Season tuition status recorded by staff from Finli | Parents; Stripe; staff |
2.2 Information collected automatically
| Category | Examples | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Device and log data | Device type, operating system, app version, IP address, time stamps, crash and error logs | Security, troubleshooting, keeping the App working |
| Push notification token | A device token issued by Apple or Google | Delivering notifications you have allowed |
| Cookies and local storage (web) | Session and authentication cookies; stored preferences | Keeping you signed in and remembering settings. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. |
We do not collect precise location, contacts, or biometric identifiers (such as face or voice templates). The App only accesses your camera or photo library when you choose to upload a photo or video.
2.3 Information from app stores (age signals)
Some states require Apple and Google to share an account holder’s age range or parental-consent status with apps. If we receive this information, we use it only to enforce age limits, comply with law, and protect users; we do not share it and we delete it once it has served that purpose.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Run the program — build rosters, share schedules and event details, manage tryouts, offers, practices, games, camps and training.
- Communicate — send announcements, reminders and messages by email and, if you allow them, push notifications.
- Support player development — record and share attendance, evaluations, training and performance information with the player’s parents and the player’s coaches.
- Process bookings and payments — confirm Base 1 bookings, take payment through Stripe, show tuition installment status, send receipts.
- Keep people safe — make health and safety notes available to the coaches responsible for a player; moderate content; prevent fraud and abuse.
- Maintain and improve the App — fix bugs, secure systems and understand which features are used (using our own aggregated data, not third-party ad or profiling tools).
- Meet legal obligations — keep financial records, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our Terms.
We do not sell personal information, use it for third-party advertising, or use it to build profiles for any third party. We post photos or video of players on Tier 1’s own website and social media accounts only when a parent has signed our social media release, and a parent may revoke that release at any time for future posts. We do not use children’s personal information to train artificial intelligence models.
4. How information is shared
Within the program. What others see depends on their role:
- Parents see their own household and their own children’s information, plus team schedules, rosters (player names and jersey numbers) and team posts.
- Coaches see information about players on the teams they coach, including health and safety notes and development records.
- Staff and admins see what is needed to operate the program and Base 1, including payment status.
- Other families can see what you post in team feeds, comments and the parent lounge.
Service providers. We use the companies below to operate the App. They may only use personal information to provide services to us, under contracts that require them to protect it at least as well as this Policy does.
| Provider | What they do | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Database, authentication, file storage, server functions | All App data |
| Stripe | Payment processing | Payment details, purchaser name and email |
| Resend | Transactional email delivery | Name, email address, message content |
| Netlify | Web hosting | Device and log data |
| Expo, Apple Push Notification service, Firebase Cloud Messaging | Push notification delivery | Push token, notification content |
Finli. Season tuition is billed and paid on Finli under Finli’s own terms and privacy policy. Tier 1 staff record installment status in the App; the App does not send your payment data to Finli.
GameChanger. Staff may import schedules and statistics exported from GameChanger into the App.
Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena or court order; to protect the safety of a player or anyone else; or to investigate fraud or violations of our Terms.
Business changes. If Tier 1 is merged, sold or reorganized, information may transfer to the successor, which must honor this Policy for information collected under it. We will notify you before that happens.
We never sell or rent personal information, including children’s personal information.
5. How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above. This is our retention schedule:
| Information | Retention period |
|---|---|
| Account and household information | While the account is open; deleted within 30 days after account deletion |
| Player profile and development records | While the player is active in the program, plus 1 year after the player’s last season, then deleted (a parent may ask us to delete them sooner) |
| Health and safety notes | Until the parent removes them, or when the player profile is deleted |
| Photos, video, posts and messages | While the account or team space is active; deleted with the account (content in team spaces is removed or de-identified) |
| Booking history | 3 years after the booking |
| Payment and transaction records | 7 years, to meet tax and accounting requirements (card numbers are never stored by us) |
| Device and log data | 90 days |
| Parental consent records | For as long as we hold the child’s information, plus 3 years |
| Backups | Rolling backups are overwritten within [30] days |
6. Your choices and rights
You can:
- Access and correct your information in the App, or ask us for a copy.
- Download your information in a portable format by contacting us.
- Delete your account in the App (Account → Request Deletion). See our Account & Data Deletion page for what is deleted and what we must keep.
- Manage notifications in the App or in your device settings. Push notifications are never required to use the App.
- Withdraw consent for a child’s information at any time (see the Children’s Privacy Notice).
- Opt a player out of photos being posted in team feeds or public channels.
We will respond to requests within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. Residents of states with privacy laws that apply to us have the rights those laws provide; send requests to the contact below.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls enforced at the database level, and a written information security program reviewed at least annually. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by New Hampshire law (RSA 359-C:20) and other applicable law.
8. Children
Players in our program are between about 8 and 17 years old. Children under 18 may not create accounts. We collect information about players under 13 only with verifiable parental consent, as described in our Children’s Privacy Notice, which is part of this Policy. Parents of players 13–17 have the same access, correction and deletion rights over their child’s profile.
If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete it promptly. Contact us if you believe this has happened.
9. Changes to this Policy
We will post any update here with a new “Last updated” date. For material changes, we will notify account holders by email or in the App before the change takes effect, and where the law requires, ask parents for new consent before applying the change to a child’s information.
